SEO Settings
Each page on your VOTLI site has editable SEO metadata so you can control how it appears in search results and when shared on social media.
Opening the SEO dialog
In the page editor, click the SEO button in the top toolbar. This opens a dialog with your SEO fields on the left and a live preview on the right.
Available fields

| Title | The <title> tag shown in browser tabs and search results. Displayed as "Your Title - App Name". |
| Description | The <meta name="description"> snippet shown below the link in search results. |
| Social Image | The image displayed when your page is shared on social media (Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, etc.). Recommended size: 1200 × 630 px. |
Generated meta tags
VOTLI automatically generates the following meta tags from your SEO fields - no extra configuration needed:

Live preview
The right side of the SEO dialog shows two previews that update as you type:
- Google preview - simulates how your page will look in search results, including the URL, title, and description.
- Social card - simulates how the link will appear when shared on social platforms, including your social image, title, and description.
Auto-generate
Click the Auto-generate button to generate a title and description based on your page content. This is useful after creating a page with the wizard - you can fill in SEO metadata in one click.
Auto-generate requires a paid plan.
Tips
- Keep titles under 60 characters to avoid truncation in search results
- Keep descriptions under 160 characters
- Use clear, descriptive titles like "Privacy Policy - My App" for compliance pages
- Always set a social image - pages shared without one look less engaging
