Layouts & Themes
VOTLI lets you control the visual style of your public microsite through layouts and themes.
Layouts
A layout defines the overall structure and template used to render your pages - typography, spacing, navigation style, and page structure.
VOTLI ships with a default Minimal layout. Additional layouts may be available depending on your plan.
Switching layouts
You can switch your app's layout from Appearance → Layout in the dashboard. When switching layouts, VOTLI shows a diff dialog listing which settings will be carried over and which will be reset (since different layouts support different configurable fields).
Themes
Within a layout, you can customize the color scheme and visual tokens - primary colors, background, text, link colors, and more.
Color presets
Presets are pre-defined color combinations you can apply in one click. VOTLI includes a set of built-in global presets. You can also create your own custom presets and reuse them across apps.

Custom colors
If no preset matches your brand, you can manually adjust individual color values from the theme editor. Changes are previewed live in the editor iframe.
Tips
- Changes to appearance affect your entire microsite, not individual pages
- You can always reset to the default theme if you want a clean slate
- Use the live preview in the editor to check contrast and readability before saving
