EULA Wizard
The EULA (End-User License Agreement) wizard generates a license agreement that defines how users are permitted to use your app.
What you'll be asked
- License type - personal, commercial, or limited license
- Platforms - iOS, Android, or both
- Restrictions - e.g. no reverse engineering, no redistribution
- Subscription or trial - whether your app uses a subscription model or offers a free trial
- Governing law - the jurisdiction that governs the agreement
When to use a EULA
A EULA is especially important if your app:
- Contains proprietary code or assets you want to protect
- Is distributed through Apple's App Store (Apple's standard EULA may not cover all your needs)
- Has specific usage restrictions you need users to agree to
- Includes a paid or subscription tier
Running the wizard
- Go to your app's Pages section
- Open the EULA page
- Click Generate
- Fill in the questionnaire and submit
- Review the generated draft in the editor before publishing
