Privacy Policy Wizard
The Privacy Policy wizard generates a tailored privacy policy for your mobile app based on your answers to a guided questionnaire.
What you'll be asked
- App name and description - basic info about your app
- Data you collect - e.g. email, location, usage data, device identifiers
- Third-party SDKs - e.g. Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry, Stripe
- Privacy contact - the email address users can reach for privacy requests
- User age - whether your app is directed at children (COPPA compliance)
- Governing law - the jurisdiction that governs your privacy policy
Running the wizard
- Go to your app's Home
- Find the Privacy Policy row in the compliance checklist
- Click Add page (or Generate, if the page already exists)
- Fill in the questionnaire and submit
- Finish with Publish & open editor to go live and review, or Save as draft to keep it private
Re-running the wizard
You can re-run the wizard at any time. Your previous answers are pre-filled so you only need to update what changed. Re-running replaces the current draft (the published version is unaffected until you publish again).
App Store requirements
Apple and Google both require a privacy policy URL for app submissions. Once your privacy policy is published, submit the URL (e.g. https://myapp.votli.app/privacy) directly to App Store Connect or Google Play Console.
