Create Your First App
Creating an app in VOTLI takes less than a minute. Here's how.
Step 1 - Open the New App form
From the dashboard, click New App in the top-right corner. If this is your first app, you'll see the empty state with a prompt to create one.
Step 2 - Name your app
You'll be asked for two things:

| App name | The display name of your app (e.g. "My Weather App") |
| Your address | The subdomain and VOTLI domain that form your public URL (e.g. my-weather-app + votli.app) |
The subdomain must be unique across the platform. You'll see a live availability check as you type.
Tip: Need to set store links, an icon or a theme at the same time? Click Advanced setup for the full four-step wizard. You can always fill those in later from Settings → Configuration.
Step 3 - Create the app
Click Create App. VOTLI will:
- Provision your app
- Set up your public subdomain (e.g.
my-weather-app.votli.app) - Create your Landing, Privacy Policy and Terms pages to get you started
Step 4 - Generate your first page
You'll land on Home, your compliance checklist. Each row is a page your app may need, with a single action next to it.
Click Add page (or Generate, if the page already exists) on Privacy Policy. The questionnaire opens right away - answer a few questions about your app, and VOTLI drafts a policy tailored to it.
On the last step you can either:
- Publish & open editor - make it live immediately and land in the content editor to review
- Save as draft - keep it private until you've read it through
Repeat for Terms of Service, and your Store-readiness score on Home moves up with each page you publish.
Your public URL
Your page is now live at:
https://my-weather-app.votli.app/privacy
Paste this URL into App Store Connect or Google Play Console.
Tip: You can also use a custom domain if you prefer your own branding.
